​WARDROBE ...

Wear colors and patterns that compliment each other (or other persons in your portrait). An exact match is not required.  But, do avoid colors or prints that might clash.  Example: Striped shirt with a polka dot skirt would clash; or a red dress next to your family member's orange shirt might clash.  If you select a pattern, pair it with a solid item that compliments its colors.


LADIES ...

Heels and wedges can elongate a your legs. Boots may add flare or stylish touch to your portraits also!

Wear clothes that make you feel special. This is the perfect time dress it up or wear items that are not part of everyday -like sparkles or a jeweled head piece . Feel free to bring along more than one option!

For engagement sessions, ladies may choose professionally finished hair and make-up. A good makeup artist can really make your best features pop. Wear natural, soft colors that compliment your wardrobe/or pre-selected scenery.

GIRLS ... 

Dresses and tulle skirts are always fun! Chapstick/lip moisture is recommended. Shoes are optional depending on age of child and location.

GENTLEMEN ...

Wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. A pair of colored pants with leather dress shoes look fashionable and photograph well!

Layers like cardigans and other sweater adds depth to your portraits.
Wear what makes you feel good!

BOYS ...

Khaki  or denim bottoms paired with plaid or solid color works.  Chapstick/lip moisture is recommended. Shoes are optional depending on age of child and location.
